Community Engaged Events

“All About Bugs!” is a series of ongoing student-led educational community engaged events curated to K-8 students established by Vanessa Jones and a fellow student while attending the University of North Carolina at Asheville (UNCA). The purpose of these events was to assist the Natural Enemy Management Application (NEMA) Lab increase community awareness around topics in entomology. The activities included in this project were designed to encourage and spark curiosity about insects and soil invertebrates through various forms of interactive media and kinesthetic stimulation.
